DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO BE THE 2025 WINTER LEAGUE SCRATCH MATCHPLAY CHAMPION?

This winter marks the launch of a new national competition for elite amateur golfers: the Winter League — the first of its kind in the UK.

Designed to extend high-level competitive golf into the off-season, the Winter League offers clubs a new platform to showcase their top talent, build team spirit, and compete for national recognition.

HOW IT WORKS

40 clubs 

8 groups of 5 teams 

Teams made up of 3 amateur players 

Singles Scratch Matchplay over 18 holes 

2 home matches 2 away matches guaranteed

Group winners go through in to the knockout stages 

 

Final to be played at The Grove in March 2026 

 

1 Trophy and amazing prizes up for grabs
